Build Strength, Confidence & Community at [Gym Name]
Whether you’re brand new or have trained before, our coaches walk you step-by-step so you feel welcome on day one — not thrown to the wolves.
Nervous? Totally normal. Most of our members started with zero experience — and many never thought they’d step on the mats.
Jiu-Jitsu designed for real people with real lives.
You don’t need to be an athlete to start. We teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a way that’s safe, structured, and addictive — in a good way.
Beginner On-Ramp
Our intro curriculum walks you through core positions, escapes, and submissions so you never feel lost.
Clean, Safe Training
Clean mats, clear rules, and a no-ego policy. We want you training for years, not weeks.
Flexible Schedule
Morning, evening, and weekend classes so training fits around work, school, and family.
Most new white belts quit within the first 60 days — not because they hate Jiu-Jitsu, but because they feel lost or intimidated.
- We check in with you after your first week to answer questions and adjust training if needed.
- At 60 days, we offer a complimentary one-on-one to tighten up your basics and set new goals.
- We introduce you to training partners at your level so you’re never alone on the mats.

Not sure which class to start with?
Most new students start with our Fundamentals or Beginner classes. If you’re nervous, you can:
- Start with a beginner group class and simply drill — rolling is optional on day one.
- Bring a friend or family member so you have a familiar partner.
- Ask for a quick on-mat orientation before class to walk through what to expect.
When you fill out the intro form below, tell us any concerns (old injuries, fitness level, anxiety, etc.). We’ll match you with the right coach and class.
Simple, transparent pricing after your intro.
No surprise fees, and no pressure to sign long contracts. Try your intro first — if it’s not a fit, no hard feelings.

Real people. Real results. Real community.
Many of our students started nervous, out of shape, or unsure they’d fit in. Here’s what they say now.
“I put off starting Jiu-Jitsu for years because I was afraid of being the worst in the room. The coaches here made sure I always had partners at my level and never felt like I was holding anyone back.”
“My 9-year-old went from shy and anxious to asking when his next class is. The coaches are incredible with kids and teach more than just techniques — they teach respect and resilience.”
“As a woman, I was nervous about stepping into a combat sport. The women’s classes and the culture here made me feel safe, respected, and supported from day one.”
Common questions from new students.
Do I need to be in shape before I start?
No. Jiu-Jitsu will help you get in shape. We encourage you to go at your own pace, take breaks, and build up gradually. Many members started exactly where you are now.
What should I bring to my first class?
A water bottle, comfortable workout clothes (no zippers or pockets), and sandals/flip-flops to wear off the mat. If you don’t have a gi yet, shorts and a t-shirt or rashguard are fine.
Will I have to spar (roll) on day one?
No. Rolling is always optional for beginners. Your first few classes can be drill-only while you get comfortable with the positions and the pace.
Do you offer family or multi-member discounts?
Yes. We offer discounts for families, first responders, and students. Ask about this when you schedule your intro and we’ll walk through options.
